Parcheggiare in città / Parking in the City
E’ consentita a quei turisti che si rechino direttamente al proprio albergo o garage, indicando sul posto il proprio numero di targa. La segnaletica all'ingresso della ZTL riporta gli orari in vigore. All’esterno della ZTL la città è suddivisa in ZCS (zona sosta controllata), dove i non residenti possono parcheggiare, a pagamento, solo entro gli spazi delimitati da righe blu.
Private vehicle traffic and parking are strictly controlled inside the city centers ZTL, limited traffic zone by electronic gates. Visitors may enter this area, basically located within the circle of avenues that goes around the city to reach their hotels or garages, by giving the license plate number. The signs at the entrance to the ZTL show the hours that restrictions are enforced. Outside the ZTL the rest of the city is divided into controlled parking zones (ZCS) where non residents may park for a fee only within the blue markings. Parking meters are conveniently located throughout these areas
Presso i parcheggi del Parterre (Piazza Libertà) e Oltrarno (Porta Romana), Beccaria e Fortezza Fiera è possibile usufruire di tariffe "turistiche" giornaliere e notturne particolarmente agevolate.
Special "tourist" rates (24 hrs. and nightly tickets) are available at the Parkings "Parterre" (Piazza della Libertà), "Oltrarno" (Porta Romana), "Beccaria" and "Fortezza Fiera"
